Hartford Community Leaders are on the front lines against violence in Hartford County.

We assist Hartford residents in obtaining employment or career development opportunities based on his or her strenths, abilities, and needs.

We also assist with resume preparation, how to dress for success, pardon information, how to disclose your background to your employer and more!.

Hartford Community Leaders began on May 1, 2014, as a community – based planning process bringing together residents, local organizations, police department and local politicians in a forum to come up with viable solutions to violence.

We provide assistance in housing that provides stable, supported community living or assists the persons served to obtain and maintain safe, affordable, accessible, and stable housing.

The residences in which Community Housing services are provided. In addition, providing workshops on how to apply for housing.

We work closely with families to identify their needs and then assist in meeting their goals. :

We provide education and resources to enroll in alcohol and drug or Mental Health Programs.

These services/supports are focused on providing counseling and sober living environments to increase the likelihood of sobriety and abstinence and to decrease the potential for relapse.


Violence Prevention Community Group

Hartford Community Leaders advocates partner with schools, faith communities, service organizations and businesses to raise awareness about the causes and effects of violence, housing, employment, childcare, food, and transportation.
