Donald Padgett

Founder/President

The youngest of four children, grew up in the beautiful city of Hartford Connecticut. He graduated from Weaver High School in 1989. In 1991, he received his bachelor’s degree in engineering.

He Is the Founder and Executive Director of Hartford Community Leaders Development Corporation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that implements a broad range of strategies to promote community health and development including community-driven efforts to prevent violence, classes on how to find jobs, housing assistance, alcohol and substance abuse referrals, and basic financial literacy training.

In addition, he is the CEO of Executive Sound Entertainment LLC., Vnetwork Radio (WNET) and CT Jamz Radio Station all 24 hours located in Hartford Connecticut, from which he built from the ground up. It is an American-based live online radio network broadcasting all over the world, with a radio network of 200+ BDS – Media Base stations covering various Gospel music such as Traditional, Contemporary, Southern and Gospel Jazz. He hosts a weekly Public Access and Internet Radio show called “Hartford Community Leaders Talk” that airs on Hartford Public Access TV 5, East Hartford Public Access, BRIC TV New York, which covers important topics involving social justice.

Through his passion for community service and hosting multiple workshops, though not seeking anything in return, Donald has been the recipient of many awards. Giving back to the community is of utmost importance to him in his ministry.

He is a full time Pastor of True Vine Church of Christ, Inc. and Walk in the Light Deliverance Church in Hartford Connecticut. Although he is the President, Hartford Community Leaders, CEO of Executive Sound Entertainment LLC, Vnetwork Radio and CT Jamz Radio one of his greatest joys in his life is to spiritually uplift his.

Herm A. Caldwell

Vice President

For over 30 years Herm Caldwell has been impacting the Nation through his business and training people to be transcendent from Greater Hartford CT. He wears many different hats in the community. His favorite motto is “The last has not been heard”.

Kevin Outar

Program Director

He was born and raised in the Hartford Community for over 40 years. He has been involved in social work for 20 years helping and educating families in this community. Currently, he is the Community Program Director at Hartford Community Leaders helping Men and women with resumes, job applications, interviewing techniques, dress for success, child support, visitation and protective orders. His passion is to see Every Father be a part of his child’s life and to not be discouraged by the current barriers in place in the Social Service agencies that exist in Connecticut at this time. He is pleased and honored to be a part of this event this evening.

Avery Lawson

Community Outreach Specialist

He was born and raised in the Hartford Community. He is outgoing, committed to the work for residents in Greater Hartford. In addition, involved Coordinates a resource network that may include working with alumni, volunteers, faculty, students, community and staff to plan and execute external and internal events. Also, manages communications for the school in partnership with the central Public Affairs office, duties including preparing press releases, newsletters and managing social media with a team of staff. Avery has worked with homeless families, Individuals through reentry. He is dedicated Elder of church ministry.

Laly Noya Rakotoniaina

Laly Noya Rakotoniainais a graduate of Hartford International University for Religion&Peace -Women’s Leadership Institute, The New School, Musicians Institute for Contemporary Music also, UMASS.In addition, she’s a woman business owner, author, publisher, songwriter plus recording artists. Aside from a professional life, Laly is active in her community with programs for high school and colleges students.Programs such as lunch/learn and college/career fairs and more.
